Get back to nature with the National Trust by pitching at their touring caravan site located on National Trust land at Ilam Park in the Peak District. It is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Peak District and is a great base to explore other nearby National Trust properties and the glorious surrounding countryside.
Rest assured that it is in one of the most exquisitely located areas, close to the Hamps and Manifold rivers and overlooking the beautiful parkland of Ilam Country Park. It will be litter free, carefully cleaned and neat as a new pin, but it won’t compromise on stunning scenery or with services to tailor to your toilet breaks! Renowned for their child friendliness, their attraction as being a pet owner’s haven precedes their reputation for desirable holiday accommodation. They are peaceful green oasis is nestled in the grounds of an attached National Trust property, with historic stable yard and Italian garden open to the public. Due to this they do get booked up quite quickly so don’t disappoint and get your dates in the diary as soon as you can.
The National Trust caravan site is the perfect base to explore the Peak District, with many local walks in the area directly from your caravan door. They are situated to be near the stable yard amenities, which offer homemade meals, cakes and scones from the nearby Manifold Tea room or stock up with basic essentials by ordering on site from our local suppliers. Why not treat you and your family to eating out in one of the many local pubs, cafes and restaurants, with the popular market town of Ashbourne just a 10 minute drive away. Hitch up your pitch, but always phone for availability and booking, they aren’t open all year round due to the Peak District’s inclement weather after all, but usually open from March through to the end October. With the site operated by volunteers of the National Trust, they will cater for everything you need with electrical hook ups and access points for water and waste disposal. However long you get to stay, we know you’ll have a great time and enjoy your stay in your caravan site of choice.
