Longshaw Estate is an area of moorland accessed off the Sheffield – Grindleford road or the Chesterfield – Hathersage road. Large areas of open moor land with and clumps of mixed woodland, which in some years attracts small parties of Crossbills. It has been in ownership from the National Trust since 1931.
