The Flying Childers Inn

Set in the heart of the pretty village of Stanton in Peak the pub retains the charm of a ‘proper’ British pub – where good real ale is top of the menu!

Behind the bar you will find Wells Bombardier as a regular plus two changing guest ales often from breweries in and around the area but also some from further afield.

The aim is quality at a reasonable price. Also available – various bottled beers, ciders and a small selection of house and other wines.

We have cosy open fires for chillier days and a lovely beer garden for warmer ones.

The pub is hugely dog friendly with doggy treats behind the bar (or in the pockets of some of the locals!)

Well behaved walkers and children are also welcome. We are not a big ‘foodie’ pub, but we do good, homemade, light lunches with walkers in mind or anyone who wants something just to keep the pangs away until teatime!

Food is tasty and reasonably priced.
