There are lots of places throughout the Peak District where cycling is very easy and accessible to do. Whether you want to be close to one of the famous easy going trails, such as Tissington, or Monsal , where a cycle is a must to thoroughly enjoy a meandering bike ride or something a little more harder. There are trails on easy terrain for all the family to enjoy, but if you fancy something more adventurous then think about choosing accommodation near the more challenging trails, such as the High Peak or Pennine Way. Bicycle friendly bed and breakfast encompasses a whole range of accommodation with either bikes to lend, to hire or simply bring your own and choose a B&B close to cycle trails.
Mountain biking is of course for those with adventurous spirit and there are certainly many trails off the beaten track where this extreme sport can be undertaken. Simply choose a bed and breakfast from this section and our bicycle friendly landlord and landladies will give you directions to get the most out of your cycling holiday. It’s wonderful to wander through the Peak District country lanes on a bike, whether it’s made for one or made the two. A memorable holiday trundling around and on two wheels can certainly be achieved without much effort, but for the more headstrong and intrepid, you won’t be disappointed with the challenges that the Dark Peak has to offer, that’s for sure.
