The Old Hall Hotel

We have transformed the Old Hall and the service you will receive.  Our aim is to provide a relaxed atmosphere for family and friends to eat and drink with comfortable accommodation.

We offer all your favourite classic pub meals from our experienced chefs using fresh ingredients and also have a variety of specials with a twist not forgetting our famous steak and old peculiar pie . We also have a tea room where you can enjoy breakfasts, a quick bite for lunch or afternoon tea and coffee. You must try our famous Old Hall Hotel Derbyshire Breakfast! The tea room and restaurant can be hired for a special occasion with a variety of options catering for your needs.

LOCATION.

 
Hope village itself is a very picturesque and unique village set in the heart of the peak district. It is extremely popular for walking holidays, hikers, cyclists and hand gliders.

There are 2 very large camp sites, 4 pubs (including The Old Hall Hotel), 2 tea rooms (including the Old Hall Tea Rooms), and 2 cafes. The two most recent additions to the village are the Chinese takeaway, and the curry cabin, so there’s plenty of choice.

Two outdoor activity shops can be found in the old courtyard between the delicatessens and the fruit and veg. shop in the centre of the village.

The hills surrounding hope are Lose Hill, Win Hill, and Pin Dale. Further afield are Bardwell Moor, Black Rabbit, the well known Mam Tour, and the famous Kinder Scout.

To the rear of the building is Edale road, leading to the start of the Pennine way. Edale is a beautiful valley set deep into the hills.

We have a twin room, double, family and two four poster bedrooms available for you to enjoy your stay at the Old Hall. The cost of the stay includes our famous Full Derbyshire Breakfast, served in the new ‘Old Hall Tea Rooms’ from 8am till 11:30am.

RESTAURANT AND TEAROOMS

 
Our restaurant is located in the main building of The Old Hall with plenty of tables which can seat from two to forty five. If you do require a table for more than six people please let us know so we can cater for your needs.  We have an excellent wine menu to accompany your meal and tasty desserts to end your dining experience.   If you would prefer a light snack, coffee and cake or cream tea then why not try our Old Hall Tearooms.  We also serve a Full Derbyshire Breakfast, to get your day off to a good start.

We are happy to cater for your needs so please do ask us if you have any particular dietary requirements. Children are welcome and we have  high chairs available.

All our food we offer in our restaurant or the tearooms is freshly produced from local ingredients.
