The Devonshire Arms at Beeley is lucky to have one of those rare locations on the Chatsworth Estate where the beauty of the area is quite simply stunning. Our gorgeous traditional country Inn with fourteen hotel bedrooms owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire is only a short picturesque walk from Chatsworth House itself and blends its idyllic village setting with contemporary comfort.

Fourteen supremely comfortable bedrooms, each furnished in its own style are equipped with the little extras to make your stay a truly memorable one. Large comfortable beds, luxury towels, wrap around bathrobes and freshly ground coffee on the tea tray add to the attention to detail in room.

Our selection of bedrooms range from double rooms to suites with each room offering outstanding comfort and its own unique style ideal for short or long stays to the Peak District and Chatsworth House.

Four of our rooms are located in the main Inn; with a further four located a stones throw away along the garden path in Brookside House. Our six newest additions are just opposite the Inn housed within one of Beeley’s quaint dwellings, Dove Cottage. We accept well-behaved dogs in Brookside house only.

Our  perfect location on the Chatsworth Estate offers the idllyic setting of a traditional village Inn within the gorgeous Peak District. The Bar and newly refurbished Brasserie are the perfect spots for a relaxed lunch, dinner or as private dining area.

Our excellent menu provides the finest dining options, and it is with the fabulous local ingredients available nearby that we are able to create the outstanding food that we are so renowned for. With such high quality produce on our doorstep from award winning artisan cheeses to locally shot Chatsworth game and seasonal legumes from our own kitchen garden, we remain uncompromising in our commitment to local, seasonal ingredients.

Our wines are exceptional. A purpose built wine room displays some of the exciting labels that have been selected from the award winning Devonshire Cellar and there are some real gems to savour.

Plus a good choice of value for money, easy drinking wines are available, several by the glass.

Cask ales include a local brewed Chatsworth Gold by Peak Ales, and a selection of other local cask ales.
