Accommodation Category: Bed and Breakfast
Stanshope Hall offers comfortable and imaginative licensed Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
We have three double en suite bedrooms, with tea and coffee tray, TV, and telephone. All the rooms are beautifully decorated by artists, and have views over the countryside.
South facing and high on a plateau between Dovedale and the Manifold valley, Stanshope Hall is in the heart of the Peak District National Park in central England, on a small road between the villages of Ilam and Alstonefield. It is seven miles to the nearest town, Ashbourne.
The Hall is a listed building dating back to the 1600s, and is most unusually decorated.
For those staying with us, we are happy to offer remote working in the peace and quiet of our drawing room between the hours of 10am – 3pm ( let us know in advance so that you don’t get disturbed) We have very high wifi speeds due to having fibre to the premises.
Please note that we do not accept pets.
The guests’ end of the house has its own large dining room and drawing room with log fire, piano, and plenty of games and books.
The Bed &; Breakfast price includes our substantial English breakfast. This includes cereals ( home made as well as the usual varieties ), and then a choice of traditional English cooked breakfast, or kipper, poached haddock, or continental breakfast.
