Ruby Cottage in Longnor

Ruby Cottage is a cosy, comfortable cottage located in a quiet spot in the village of Longnor in the Peak District National Park.

Longnor is centrally located being only 6 miles from the historic spa town of Buxton and 8 miles from Bakewell and its famous puddings.

The cottage has been carefully renovated to retain much of its original character with exposed stonework, stripped pine doors and a wood burning stove.

There is a small enclosed south facing garden to the front of the property and plenty of on road parking available.

The cottage sleeps two people. A cot, high chair and baby bath are also available. One small dog is welcome.

The cosy lounge has a wood burning stove, leather sofa and chair and a 26” flat screen TV with CD/DVD player. There is free Wifi, with a fast connection.

Games, books, walking guides and maps are all provided, as is wood for the fire (at a small extra charge).   The room has a dining table and four chairs.

The fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with ice box. Tea, coffee & sugar, tea towels and a few tablets for the dishwasher and washer/dryer are all provided.

The double bedroom has two bedside tables with lamps and an alarm clock. The wardrobe has plenty of coat hangers, three drawers (and a couple of spare blankets should you need them). There is a shelf with mirror above and a hairdryer.

The modern bathroom has a walk in shower, under floor heating and heated towel rail. WC and wash basin and a shaver point. A selection of toiletries is provided.
