Quarnford Lodge

Quarnford lodge is perfect for friend or family get togethers & special occasions. Unlike many other venues that offer large group accommodation the Quarnford lodge is a single residence that everyone stays in and features an impressive large open plan dining area that seats 28 around a single table – perfect for getting your big group together.

Recently refurbished a very high standard the property features 10 luxurious bedrooms, all of which are en suite. The most impressive feature for groups is an huge vaulted dining area, complete with double sided wood burning stove with seating for 28.

The level of finish is very high throughout & includes carefully co-ordinated fabrics, leather sofas, and quartz work surfaces in the kitchen.

Adjacent to the impressive dining area is a large lounge, with 55” TV &  leather sofas.  There is a further lounge with TV & karaoke!

There is also a separate games Pool Table.  There is also a full size table tennis table for use in the dining room.

The kitchen is beautifully equipped with two hobs & cookers, an American style fridge freezer (plus a second beer / wine fridge for all those extra bottles), two dishwashers, and washer dryer.

There is ample crockery, and glasses needed for the group.

For those not wishing to avail themselves of these kitchen facilities (!) all dining requirements can be catered for by local suppliers.

For a more alfresco experience there is a secure patio garden area complete with 3 picnic benches & large BBQ.

We welcome children and families – four of the bedrooms being suitable for families with a double bed and bunks (which are also suitable for adult usage if need be), and a secure patio and BBQ area.

The property is wheelchair friendly with 3 downstairs bedrooms available, one of which with a wet room equipped to disabled standards.

Location
The property is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park in the village of Flash (the highest village in England) & commands fantastic panoramic views over Dove Head.

The historic spa town of Buxton is just 10 minutes drive away (4 miles) with plenty of amenities & things to do. Closer to home there are two local country pubs less than a mile away.

There are great walks from the door including the famous Three Shires Heads route (starting in Flash) where the three counties of Derbyshire, Cheshire, and Staffordshire meet.
