Mill Cottage

The cottage is located in the heart of this popular Peak District village that has good local amenities and is known for its history as the plague village. There is excellent walking from the village at the same time a short drive away is the nearby country estates of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.and is centrally situated for easy access to the popular towns of Buxton, Bakewell and Castleton.

Entry to the mid terraced stone cottage which is on three floors is through a small porch into the welcoming lounge that has a woodburner inset in a stone fireplace. A door to the rear leads through to the good sized and well equipped kitchen/dining area that has all the essential equipment you will require for your stay. The stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor the bedroom to the front of the property has a double bed and overlooks the village centre. Also on this floor is the bathroom that has a bath with hand shower toilet and hand basin. A further flight of stairs leads into the spacious bedroom on the second floor which has a double bed and a futon which is suitable for occasional use. There is a beamed ceiling which adds to its character and also has views of the area to the front and rear of the cottage.

There is a patio sitting out area to the rear and a garden seat to the front.
