Littonfields Barn

Littonfields Barn is a large luxury barn conversion, sleeping up to 12 + 2 cots, on our family farm in the heart of the Peak District. With its own games barn and full central heating, Littonfields Barn offers all year round appeal, for holidays or week-end breaks.

Littonfields Barn is a great place to celebrate with friends and family. If you want to combine a wonderful short break with a special occasion we are happy to help you to organize your weekend. We can assist with catering, balloons, pampering and advise on a whole range of local activities so that you can enjoy a wonderful break together!

Littonfields Barn is also a great corporate venue, if you are looking for an unusual location for away-days with work colleagues for meetings, courses and teambuilding. We offer plenty of space, both indoors and out, catering as required and free WiFi.

We are situated in the picturesque village of Litton, which has a village shop and an excellent pub, The Red Lion, serving great food. Cressbrook Dale, National Nature Reserve is adjacent to the farm with its fabulous scenery, abundant wild flowers, and miles of wonderful walks all on your doorstep. Tideswell village is just a short walk away with a good selection of pubs and shops, café, art gallery, bank with ATM and parish church known as The Cathedral of the Peak.

We are well located for many of the attractions of the Peak District. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton Caverns, Edale, Eyam, the market towns of Bakewell and Buxton are all close by. Only slightly further a field are Ashbourne, Lyme Park, Dovedale , and Alton Towers.

The barn accommodates up to 12 adults (+ 2travel cots) in a split level layout, and is suited for both families and adult groups. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor, all with under-floor heating and en-suite shower rooms. The fifth bedroom is upstairs with an adjacent family bathroom. Also upstairs you will find a spacious lounge, complete with log burning stove, large comfy sofas, TV & DVD. For your entertainment we supply, books, free WiFi, board games and a selection of DVD’s.

There is ample space around a large oak dining table in the well-equipped kitchen, which has, dish-washer, washer/dryer, microwave, large gas hob, double oven and a large fridge/freezer for all of your provisions!

Just across the courtyard from the barn is the centrally heated games barn, which has a Pool Table, Table Football, Wendy house complete with kitchen and a selection of toys and games for everyone.

Walkers and cyclists are very welcome— we have washing facilities for muddy boots and bikes and secure storage. We can also arrange a grocery delivery from our local community village shop – please ask for details. There is ample parking space for up to 6 cars.
