Booking Conditions
Bookings must be secured by a £25 booking deposit. Stays of 14 days or more must be secured by a 10% booking deposit.
Cancellations or reductions made 28 days before the arrival date will receive a refund minus a £10 administration charge per unit. Cancellations or reductions made after this date are non-refundable or transferable.
Bookings made via the internet or by phone are subject to agreement with our terms and conditions. If upon arrival, we deem you or your party do not comply with our terms and conditions we reserve the right to refuse your booking without a refund.
Prices are for one unit, one car and 2 adults. Please see tariff for additional prices.
Please make sure any measurements given are accurate as pitches are allocated to size. It is your responsibility to provide correct measurements. Our tent pitches are in locations determined by the size of your tent. For an example a 6-man tent will NOT fit in a 2 man tent pitch. If upon arrival your tent is larger than the location, and we have no other alternatives, you will be unable to stay and will not receive a refund.
Preferred pitches: We do not offer pitch selection when you book online. If you would like a specific pitch you can request this over the phone. However, for operational reasons, we reserve the right to change your pitch to a similar one at any time.
Linked weekends are not permitted on fully serviced pitches. We do offer them on SOME hard-standing pitches and grass pitches. We do not offer them during Spring bank half term week or during the 6 weeks holiday. They are only available for 3 consecutive weeks. To book for a linked weekend you will need to call us to either amend your web booking or to book with us over the phone. Please note that awnings can be left up in between stays but the ground sheet must be lifted.
*D Of E parties are not permitted over May Day, Spring Bank week, Six weeks Holiday, High Season weekends or August Bank Holliday. Please call to book a D of E group.
We can’t accommodate rallies over high season weekends unless they are for stays of 4 nights or more and the regular tariff applies unless the stay is at least 7 days. For low season and 7-day-plus high-season rallies we offer discounts for ten or more vans. Please see our Rally page for more details.
We do not allow single Saturday night bookings in high season. It is a 2-night minimum over the high season weekend. If you are arriving on a Saturday your second night will be charged as a weekend night.
Walker on foot rate is non-applicable for High Season weekends.
Gazebo’s & Event shelters – Charged at £4 per night. Event shelters are recommended above gazebos as at certain times of the year we can have strong winds. Event shelters are more secure and lower to the ground. They must fit in your allotted pitch and cannot encroach on other pitches. We will ask any customer who we feel are mis-using their gazebo/event shelter to take it down. This may include gathering under them creating noise complaints after 10.30 PM.
Group bookings – We do not accept group bookings over 4 units in low season and 2 units in high season. If you book individually on the internet you will not be pitched together.
Shelf tent pitches – If you book a two man tent please note that our ‘Shelf’ Pitches have no vehicle access but they can be parked in the car park.
Offers & Discounts- We can only apply one offer per booking. 3 nights for the price of 2 is only applicable on grass electric or non-electric pitches, applies to weekdays only not including Spring Bank Week or the six-week holidays.
Arrival & Departure
Earliest arrival time is 12 noon unless agreed, by us over the phone when booking. Latest departure time is 12 noon unless agreed in the office upon arrival.
Late leavers (£6 until 5 pm) can be arranged in the office and are only applicable if your pitch is free. We do not offer late stays on Friday’s or Saturdays.
If you are arriving after 7 pm please let us know prior to your arrival. Latest arrival time is 9.30 PM for the consideration of the other campers on site.
Barriers close at midnight and open at 6.30 am vehicle access to the site during these times are not permitted and the barriers will not be raised (emergency vehicles have a set contingency plan). Anyone trying to enter the site during these times will not be allowed and will have to park across the road at the station and walk onto site quietly.
Noise & Music
No noise or music after 10.30 pm & no outdoor music at any time.
Please be aware that anyone behaving unreasonably or creating noise disturbance after 10.30 pm will be asked to leave immediately without a refund and the police will be informed where necessary.
Unaccompanied teenagers and young parties under 25 years of age are not admitted.
Dogs
There is a maximum of TWO dogs per unit – If you are in any doubt please phone and ask.
Dogs must always be kept on a short lead including the doggie do area and kept on a short tether at the caravan or tent, so they cannot reach children or passing pedestrians. They are allowed off their leads in the dog walk but are always to be kept under control. Please note despite our best efforts the dog walk is not completely escape prove so please keep an eye on your dogs.
Faeces must be removed immediately and deposited in the special bins provided – free poo bags are available at the office.
Dogs are not allowed on the recreation areas or sports-field.
Dogs cannot be left alone in a caravan or tent no matter how short the time.
We reserve the right to require that the owner removes their dog, or any other pet, if it is a nuisance or danger to other guests.
Parking, Cycling & Ball games
As parking space is limited on site, all extra vehicles including visitors will be charged. If all additional parking is taken you can park across the road by the train station.
Cycling/Scootering allowed at walking pace only around the park and not allowed by the static field or the toilet facilities.
No ball games are allowed on site, but you can use the football field over the river.
If your children are playing in the river, please always keep a close eye on them. They must not go past pitch SH1 by the Park Homes.
Electricity
Electric hook-ups are not for domestic appliances but low wattage camping appliances only. Average 12 amp per hook up.
Domestic heaters will trip the electric.
We do not allow customers to charge their electric vehicles with our electric hook-up units.
Fires & BBQ’S
No ground fires are allowed but purpose-made barbeques are welcome if they are kept off the grass or benches. House bricks are provided at the office. If you then add extra wood to this, you must be a safe distance from other units. You must not over stock it so there are large flames or flying embers. You must always have a large amount of water handy to extinguish it and be in control. It must be completely out by 10.30 pm.
