Haddon Grove award winning Cottages ( with indoor swimming pool ) are situated just outside of Bakewell in the beautiful heart of the Peak District.

We have 1,2,3,4 and 5 bed cottages available which make it the perfect location for group gatherings. Activities can be done together whilst each family or couple can retreat to their own cottage at the end of the day.

Our cottages are ideal for couples and families as well as for larger groups. We can also help with any special occasion, whether it be a wedding, birthday or corporate retreat.

We have a number of cottages which can accommodate larger numbers for sitting down to meals.

Short breaks (Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri) and Fri-Fri are available. There is a minimum stay of three nights.

Situated just outside Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Grove Farm offers very comfortable, well equipped accommodation for a perfect Peak District holiday.

10 cottages, each is individually designed to have its own Country cottage character, but all equipped with everything needed for a relaxing, stress-free holiday.

Haddon Grove is perfect for families, groups, get-togethers and corporate events. Mostly grouped around the sunny, tranquil courtyard, the cottages offer flexibility to meet the needs of any gathering. Three of the cottages offer dining together for groups of 30, 22 and 14.

The Farmhouse is 5* rated, with a bedroom and en suite shower room on the ground floor. The kitchen seats 30 with 2 ovens & 2 dishwashers. This property has a log burner a built in BBQ and its own garden.

Pippinwell is a Beautiful 5* cottage, with all bathrooms en suite. It also has a log burner.

Love Nest, sleeps 2. Deluxe bridal suite, Complete with four poster bed. Bride or not, LOVE NEST is perfect for any special occasion

Set in 3 acres of idyllic Derbyshire countryside, Haddon Grove has an indoor heated swimming pool (open 7am to 10pm daily) and games room (pool table, table tennis), a children’s play area, plenty of outdoor seating and built in barbecue areas.

Haddon Grove’s location is within 1 hour of Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds and Derby.
Haddon Grove is set in a great position with views over Lathkill Dale and the surrounding countryside. The location is spectacular for walking, cycling, riding, climbing and is convenient for all of the major Peak District attractions including Chatsworth, Derwent, Castleton, Buxton, Ashbourne, Matlock, Alton Towers, Carsington Water and Haddon Hall.

HOME COOKED MEALS 

We know that activity filled days at Haddon Grove can be exhausting, and at the end of that who wants to cook? Especially when you are supposed to be relaxing on holiday.

At Haddon Grove we provide delicious home cooked meals that you can simply heat through in your oven.

Please note that we ask for at least 24 hours notice as the meals are prepared to order, so if you know that you have a long journey to reach us, or have booked a day packed with watersports, please let us know in advance.

SHOPPING & DELIVERIES 

Haddon Grove Farm is well-situated for accessing the shops in several nearby Peak District towns/villages. 

Bakewell (3 miles): The nearest supermarket to Haddon Grove Farm is The Co-op in the centre of Bakewell. There are a number of other local shops in the centre of Bakewell. The Farmer’s market is on a Monday, which can be great fun, but also means it can be a good place to avoid unless you are visiting specifically for the market.

Buxton (10 miles): This is a more substantial town, formerly a Victorian spa. Lots of good shops, including a large Waitrose and a Morrisons for food as well as a number of interesting antique shops

Matlock (20-30 minutes): Comprising adjacent towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath (also a former spa). Gullivers Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham are very popular attractions. Small local shops with a large Sainsburys on the A6 from Bakewell. 

Ashbourne (20-30 minutes): Market town with an attractive central square. Good range of shops including antiques and arts/crafts. Great for a wander and then a visit to a teashop.

Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Waitrose will deliver to us, and to organise this you just need to visit their websites in advance of your visit & book a delivery slot and then do your shopping online.

 Please make sure that you specify that we are on the B5055 between Bakewell and Monyash- don’t just use the postcode as this sends the delivery vehicle to the wrong Haddon Grove Farm.
