Quality accommodation at Bushey Heath Farm

We offer high quality and affordable accommodation in bunk barns and on our campsite. The campsite enables visitors to either book individual pitches or the whole campsite with sole use for their individual group, family or friends.  Shut the gate and children can play safely.

At Bushey Heath accommodation is varied and we have a range of accommodation to suit a variety of needs. 

Bunk Barns

Sleeping up to 20 people in two Peak District bunk barns next to each other.  Our bunk barns have been converted from the existing Grade 2 listed farm buildings to high quality group bunk barn accommodation. Heating is by Ground Source Heat Pump and the barn conversion incorporated many recycled building materials such as flooring, doors and stonework.

We also utilise rainwater harvesting to flush the loos in the barns.  All the bunk barns offer high quality accommodation with full size single bunk beds. The facilities in each include radiator central heating, full self-catering kitchens complete with all the cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils you will need.  Basic blankets and pillows are provided along with pillowcases and some hand and tea towels, but sleeping bags/bedding and bath towels are required.

The kitchens are equipped with stainless ‘range’ cookers with extractor hoods, fridges, microwaves, toasters and kettles.

Our Peak District bunk barns are intended for groups looking for a base rather than a ‘holiday cottage’, so no sofas (apart from Marmaduke’s Rest) telly or garden areas – sorry!

The Campsite

We take individual campers, large groups, such as schools, DoE, family gatherings and training events etc. Please contact by Email if you have a group or event needing Peak District campsite accommodation with as much detail as possible, we prefer to discuss each booking.  Approx. 30 pitches, accommodating 60+  people on site

The campsite is safe for children to play and explore the campsite woods – just close the gate for peace of mind.  We don’t have music on site so enjoy a gathering in peace, groups can set out activities without disturbing others – the campsite is for your sole use once booked as such.

Please ensure our campsite rules suit before contacting – thanks. The campsite is sheltered by the surrounding woods and is ideal for groups looking for a quiet and basic Peak District campsite, for tents and small camper vans.

Camping Huts

Two timber built Camping Huts that offer dry, quiet and windproof camping for up to 3 people.

The Camping Huts are 8′ by 6′ inside and have natural light and an opening hatch for ventilation, a long shelf for bits and bobs and are lockable for security. They are just under 5′ tall and have a covered front area over the door for access and cooking. You still need to bring your mats and sleeping bags and electric torch. These are available for anyone to hire, however, if the campsite is booked for sole use, then they are included in the price.

The Hayloft training area

A well-equipped training area in pleasant surroundings, can be hired on it’s own or in conjunction with your group activity i.e. D of E map skills training , collective worship, yoga .

We encourage visitors when visiting the area to please shop locally, the village of Tideswell has a range of shops and a Co-op local supermarket (open till 10pm), you can find a great range of provisions and you will support the local economy – we actively discourage supermarket delivery services that detract from community shops.
