Blackbrook Lodge Caravan ,Camping & Glamping Pods

Ideally located midway between Belper and Ashbourne (3- 5 miles in each direction)

Blackbrook lodge is set within 12 acres of grounds and gardens with small lake and ponds. We are a small quiet pretty little site located within the heart of the beautiful Peak District… an idyllic ‘unspoilt’ little oasis of peace & quiet.

The site is set low down within a pretty little valley surrounded by open countryside with staggering views of rolling hills, fields, and local farms.

Well sheltered from strong winds and a perfect little suntrap!

Simple no fuss site with No pubs, clubs, shops or children’s play areas on site.

Lots to see and do’ out and about’ or simply put your feet up with a good book and enjoy the tranquility.

Caravan/tent electric pitches

we have approx 12 pitches which are  serviced with electric points [booking early recommended]

15 non electric pitches

Our pitches are generously sized.

Tents are also welcome and can be booked with or without electric hook up

if friends book together we will always endeavor to place you on pitches side by side, including both tents, and caravans, [or a mixture of both]

please mention at time of booking that you are with another party

caravan, camper vans, motor homes are priced at:

from £25 per night

tents

15 non-electric hook up pitches available for camping

small 2 man tents are priced @ £5 per pitch plus £5 per person on non electric

Minimum charge of £10 per night

larger tents, [anything bigger than a 2 man] would be £10 per night plus £5 per head.

no charge for children under 7 years

Electric hook up is available for tents [if required] but limited availability, so must be arranged/requested at time of booking.

there would be an additional daily charge of £5 per pitch per day for electric hook up

family/friends groups are allowed a gazebo/shelter between the group at extra charge of £10 per night

pods

We have 4 themed pods in total

1. the duck house

2. bumble cottage

3. kingfishers rest

4.hunters moon

3 of the pods have 2 single beds, 1 has twin sofa beds which can be converted to large double. [could possibly sleep 2 adults and 1 child]

All pods have tea/coffee facilities and will be supplied with a welcome pack of complimentary, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits

All pods are supplied with electric heater for chilly nights.

Each pair of pods, has an outdoor  fire pit and picnic table. [shared between 2 pods]

a starter pack of logs/firelighters is supplied on arrival
All bedding is supplied in each pod (just bring your own towel)

sorry, no dogs allowed in the pods.

pod prices

pods are priced at £75 per night for twin occupancy

£60 per night for 2 nights or more

if booking all 4 pods at same time for 2 nights or more, a further 10% discount applies

Catering/cooking facilities

There are no cooking facilities supplied inside the pods

however, there is a small cabin/kitchen which is shared between all 4 pods which has basic catering/washing up facilities

all cutlery/crockery/pots/pans etc provided

Toilets and showers are available ‘on site’ a short walk away from the pod accommodation.

 facilities

we have a modern purpose built toilet/shower block

2 showers in both ladies and gents with 3 toilets in each.

we also have a pot washing area for campers,with hot & cold water

and can offer a freezer block exchange for cool boxes etc

Visitors

Family/friends/Visitors to tents or caravans are welcome on a daily basis.

We would request a minimum parking charge of £3 per visit per car

This price includes a maximum of 2 persons

If visitors would like to fish the minimum charge is £5 per rod per day

No half day prices available

Dogs

Dogs are always welcome, if your dog is controllable and stays close to your pitch, then no leads required on camping area.

for the ‘runaways’ we do have a large secure field where dogs can be allowed off lead.

If the dog is uncontrollable, or, aggressive towards other dogs, then we would respectfully request leads to be used at all times.

dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times around the fishing lake due to fishing and wildlife etc

Up to 2 dogs per pitch allowed free of charge

Any extra dogs are charged @ £2 per dog per day
