The Miners Standard

The Miners Standard has been owned and run by the Markham family for over 10 years, and we invite you to sample and enjoy our fine cask conditioned ales, excellent home cooked food and hospitality every lunch time and evening. Please note that the pub is now open all day.

Children and well-mannered dogs are always welcome.

Pub
Full of excellent cask conditioned beers, new world wines, British & continental Lagers and warm hospitality, The Miners Standard is still the pub it always should have been. A short distance from Matlock, modern life seems a lifetime away as soon as you step through the doors.

Pub opening times – 12pm-12am everyday
Christmas Day – 12-4pm – 7.30pm-11pm

Food
At the Miners Standard we pride ourselves on the consistency of high quality products, served in very pleasant surroundings by our ever helpful and courteous staff.

Our scrumptious menu will suit all palates. Our aim is to provide delicious, seasonal, home cooked dishes from local suppliers.

Food is served every day except Sun/Mon/Tues, every other day 12-3pm then evening meals from 6.30-9pm.

In the summertime food is served all day Sat/Sun.

Bed & Breakfast
All of our bedrooms are fully ensuite. We have a selection of double, twin, single and family rooms accommodating up to 3 adults. We also have a large private car park.

1 x double room which sleeps four – 2x single beds 1 x bunkbed
1 x single room

Each room has a colour TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities and a selection of toiletries.

Current tarriff: £40 per person per night including breakfast.

Stays of 2 nights or more £35 per person per night including breakfast .

Campsite
In addition to our luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation, we also have a fabulous 2 acre campsite for your use all year round.

The camping field is on the top of the world, and has lots of room for the kids to run around.

We have separate male and female shower blocks, and outside toilets which are available 24 hours a day.

Electrical hookups available by arrangement.

Barbeque’s and fire pits are allowed on this site.

There is no charge for awnings or dogs

Caravans are charged at £5 per person per night.

Children aged between 5-12 are charged at £3 per child per night.

Children aged at 13+ are charged at full adult prices.

Motorhomes are welcome.
